This is Mike Bishop's one-man-band education-and-software company. (Mike's back story is on the About page.)
I also have a one-man-band PV install company, named Oakstead. Thru Oakstead, high-strung sort-of-dumb Mike goes out in the field to get proper ass kickings.
I write about the field struggles at this website. ...Hopefully helping others avoid some of my mistakes. I really want to be good at field work.
I also write about newfangled "site power system" tech. ...Including how that stuff relates to electrical code and UL listings.
And I write about energy modeling and related money modeling. And (trying to) effectively manage a small construction company.
I'm into open-source tech and open protocols. I'm a local-first guy. I like component-based systems (that avoid being locked in with a particular brand).
I have no ambition to scale (but big ambition to operate smarter). I loved the book Company of One.
If you currently have your own little install company, or you yearn to start a little install company (whether all in or part time)... this website is especially for you.

I'll outro with the official Slow Power photo (found somewhere on the internet):
